Robert A. Pensiero, 54, of Hilton, NY, formerly of Stamford, passed away suddenly on January 9, 2009. Born on June 23, 1954 in Stamford, he was the son of Joseph T. and Victoria Guiliani Pensiero, Sr.
Robert was the owner of Sandys Subs Deli in Hilton, New York. He was a graduate from Stamford High School. He enjoyed playing softball and watching baseball and football.
In addition to his parents, Robert is survived by his wife, Sandra Caron Pensiero of Hilton, NY; a brother, Donald Pensiero of Stamford; and a nephew, Tyler Joseph Pensiero of Meriden.
He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph T. Pensiero, Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 9:30 AM
At Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. There will be no calling hours and Interment will be private. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations are made to the: Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care of Southwestern Connecticut, 1029 East Main Street, Stamford, CT, 06902.
