Rosa A. Miraballes

Rosa A. Miraballes, 86, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Rosa was born in Uruguay on August 30, 1939, to the late Rosendo and Soledad De Leon.

Rosa was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family, especially her grandson, and her close friends. She was very proud of her family and she loved them dearly, and her memory will live on in their hearts. She will be forever missed.

Rosa was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Alvar O. Miraballes, in February of 2024, and is survived by her daughter, Anny Lesko and her husband Bill, son, Eddie Miraballes, grandson, Billy Lesko, and her brother-in-law Rene Miraballes and his wife Sylvia, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue. Stamford, CT on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a service being held at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.
