Rose Begel 89 of Stamford passed away peacefully at Stamford Hospital on Tues. Feb. 14, 2006.
Born in New York City Dec. 5, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Ettore and Filomina Barra Sacchi.
She was the beloved mother of Edward S. Begel and beloved mother-in-law of Rosanne Conforti Begel both of Stamford and beloved mother of Norman N. Begel.
A Funeral Procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory 104 Myrtle Ave. Stamford on Sat. Feb. 18, 2006 at 8:20 AM and proceed to St. Gabriel RC Church 914 Newfield Ave. Stamford, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery Mausoleum, Hartsdale, NY.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Roses name to either the American Diabetes Association CT Affiliate, Inc. 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT 06459 or the American Heart Association 5 Brookside Dr. Wallingford, CT 06492-1822.
