Rose Marie Caruso

Rose Marie Caruso 83, life long resident of Stamford, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Long Ridge of Stamford. Born on March 23, 1926 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther Sabato Guglielmo.
Rose Marie was a member of the Ladies Guild of Sacred Heart Church, member of the Jewish Center, former member of the Stamford Women’s Club, and a member of NCSC (National Counsel Senior Citizens). She was a secretary for Moore McCormick and Champion International for many years. Rose Marie enjoyed her family, bowling, walking and traveling the world with her husband.
Rose Marie is survived by her husband Frank V. Caruso of Stamford, two sons; Joseph A. Caruso of Stamford, and Frank B. Caruso of PA, two sisters; Carmela Giordano of FL, and Rita (and Nick) Labella of FL, and a brother Anthony (and Luisa) Guglielmo of Stamford. She is also survived by brother and sister in law Anthony and Lucy Caruso of Stamford, and brother in law Michael Caruso of CA, as well as six grandchildren; Jennifer, James, Michael, Christopher, Brendan and Jacqueline Caruso, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 10:30AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will be held privately at Fairfield Memorial Park.
