Rose C. Conte, 91, a lifelong resident of Stamford , passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 17, 1921 in Stamford to the late Frank and Anna Canella Greco.
Rose is survived by her loving children Mario DiAcri and his wife Donna of Ridgefield, CT, June Bianco and her husband Daniel of Darien, Frank DiAcri and his wife Michele of Clinton, CT, Linda Gaito and her husband Lawrence of Middletown, NY, and Anthony DiAcri of East Haven, CT, a brother Louis Greco and thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by her husband Philip Conte, a brother Joseph Greco, a sister Francis Barry and a grandson Marc DiAcri.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Wednesday, January 9,2013 from 10:00- 11:00 AM with prayer services. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.
