Rose Bria Pelliccione,81,of Stamford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 29, 2013. She was born in Rose, Italy, Provence of Cosenza on January 24, 1932 to the late Francesco and Rosina Fiorita Bria.
Rose was employed as an Inspector at FAG Bearings and KAF Manufacturing Co., Inc. for many years before her retirement. She was a devout Catholic who walked to Church to attend at St. Maurice RC Church, where she was a parishioner. Her world revolved around family.
She is survived by her loving husband Antonio Pelliccione of Stamford, her loving children Roseann Diana and her husband Vincent, Joseph Pelliccione, Lina Pelliccione and Frank Pelliccione and his wife Lavinia, three grandchildren Vincent Richard Diana and his wife Tania, Matthew and Christopher Pelliccione and her brother Amerigo Bria and his wife Carmela. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Anthony Bria and her sister Carmela Castiglione.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home &Crematory ,104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 9:45 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace RC Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford.
