Rose (Bork) Raff, 103 of Stamford passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2013 at The Atria of Stamford. She was born in Poland on July 15, 1910.
Rose lost most of her family in the Holocaust. She survived the torture of Concentration Camp in Poland during World War II. After the war she came with her husband, Israel Raff to live in Stamford. She has been a resident of Stamford for over sixty years. Later in life she met and married Max Puder. Rose was also a lifelong member of Congregation Agudath Shalom and a lifelong member of Hadassah.
She is survived by her nephew Jayme Bork of Brazil. Rose was predeceased by her husbands Israel Raff and Max Puder.
A graveside service will be celebrated (Today) on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Agudath Shalom Cemetery, Westover Road, Stamford. Rabbi Daniel Cohen will officiate.
