Rose Stratoudakis
December 13, 1921 — June 13, 2018
Rose Lucy Stratoudakis, 96, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was born in Stamford on December 13, 1921 to the late Giovanni and Clementina Baldino Rotante.
She is survived by her loving son, James P. Stratoudakis and his wife Carol Jay Colello of Fairfax, VA, a grandson Alexander Jay Stratoudakis and his wife Julia V. Bartlett of New York City, a great grandson Henry Thompson Stratoudakis and nephews John and Jerry Rotante.
Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by her husband James Stratoudakis in 1998 and her sister Edith Rotante and her brother Paul Rotante. Rose was an Executive Secretary for Stamford Superior Drug for thirty years before her retirement.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM. A Prayer Service will be celebrated at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford.
