Rose Taylor, 87, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Stamford Hospital. Born October 1, 1919 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late John and Eudocea Bazarko Soltys.
Rose was employed with Conetta Tool and Die of Stamford and Pitney Bowes for twenty years as a Senior Wire Harness Tech until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, George E. Taylor of Stamford; a son, George R. Taylor and his wife Lilian of St. Petersburg, FL; a daughter-in-law, Lucille Taylor of Stamford; a son, Gene W. Taylor and his wife JoAnn of Fairfield; a daughter, Penny Taylor of Stamford; and two sisters, Mary Negyesi of St. Petersburg, FL; and Catherine Bankowski of Stamford. Seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, James D. Taylor.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 from 5:00 8:00 PM. A service will be held at 6:00 PM.
