Ruth Carlson, 79, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2012. Ruth was born on May 8, 1933 in New York, NY to the late Henry and Charlotte Cook Eisemann. Ruth worked as a secretary for General Insurance for many years.
Besides her parents, Ruth is predeceased by her husband Frank R. Carlson, her son F. David Carlson and her brother Aubrey Eisemann.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Nancy Petersen and her husband Robert, her sons Thomas H. Carlson and Raymond Carlson and his wife Sonia of Stratford, CT as well as five grandchildren; Katelyn and Ashley Carlson, Kirstyn Martin, Christian and Heather Petersen, and one great grandchild, Teagan Martin.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave. Stamford, on Friday August 10, 2012 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:45AM on Saturday August 11, 2012 for a graveside service at Long Ridge Union Cemetery, Erskine Road, Stamford with Reverend Bartlett W. Gage officiating.
