Ruth Mcnulty

Ruth McNulty, 81, passed away on Saturday May 13, 2006 at Stamford Hospital. Born in Stamford on July 26, 1924, she was the daughter of the late J. Walter and Elizabeth Scollard Donaghey.
She was a school teacher for the Stamford Public School System for over 30 years. Ruth taught at Rogers School, Rice School and retired from K.T. Murphy in 1984. She was a member of Retired Teachers Association of CT and Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church in Stamford.
She is survived by her two daughters, Moira A. McNulty and Megan A. McNulty both of Stamford; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Anthony J. McNulty; and a sister, Margaret Donaghey Murray.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 9:20 AM on Wednesday May 17, 2006 and proceed to Our Lady Star of the Sea, 1200 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
