Sadie Memoli

Sadie Alice Memoli, 94 of Stamford, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at home. Born on December 9, 1915 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Filomena Buttina Memoli.
Sadie was a sales Clerk for 38 years for Sears and Roebuck of Stamford until her retirement in 1985, though her main concern was to lovingly take care of her family, which she did for the majority of her life.
Sadie is survived by her sister, Josephine Memoli of Stamford and by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Sadie was predeceased by his four brothers, Frank, Patrick, Anthony and Otto Memoli and her sister Mary Albonizio.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 10:30AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00AM at St. Mary RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, CT 06902. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien, CT. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 4:00-8:00PM.
