Salvatore Bordonaro

Sal entered the gates of heaven on May 8, 2026, just weeks shy of his 81st birthday, having been born on May 29, 1945. Raised in the Bronx New York until his dedicated Naval service (1966-1970) took him to Italy as a Radio man for submarines.

Sal graduated from college in 1965 and established his reputation as Comptroller for various companies across the US, until the entrepreneurial spirit manifested itself.

He proceeded to launch a hugely successful Temp Agency in New York City in 1995, and gained many friends and associates. Many who became lifelong friends.

Sal is preceded in passing by his wife of 45 years, Patty. They shared homes in Connecticut and Saugerties , New York. He also leaves behind a brother, Peter Bordonaro (Jeannie) sister Bella Casale, and sister Pat Sanders (Mark) He is fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and several other distant relatives.

Sal had many interest starting with his lifelong love of Jazz . Along with Art , gardening, football, and spending time with friends at his country home.

His penchant for socializing with friends and neighbors, became his passport to popularity. He will be missed by many. Rest peacefully.
