Samuel Malizia, 78, a longtime resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Villa of Stamford. Samuel was born August 24, 1938 in Stamford, son to the late Samuel and Philomena Monda Malizia.
Samuel had a passion for drawing and creating art for others to enjoy. He was his happiest spending quality time with his family.
Samuel is survived by his sister Elizabeth Coppola of Trumbull, his Niece Roxann Coppola-Morris and her husband Colin of Stratford, and his great-niece Kelly Russo of Colorado.
Besides his parents, Samuel is predeceased by his brother Richard Malizia, Brother-in-law Rocco Coppola and a nephew Steven Russo.
A funeral service will be privately held at a later date.
