Sanil Wagnac

Sanil Wagnac,85, of Stamford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 3, 2013. He was born in Haiti on October 4, 1927 to the late Edward and Feuvinise Francois Wagnac.
Sanil was an active member of the Haitian Community Center for many years.
Sanil is survived by his loving wife Labenite Desulme Wagnac , his loving children Anne Auguste, Marie Melisena, Marie Ermance and Marie Claudette Wagnac all of Stamford, Joseph Sanio Wagnac of Haiti and Vulio Wagnac of Stamford. Also fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren surviving.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Oristerne Wagnac and two sisters and one brother.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 8:15 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 AM at The Basilica of St. John the Evangelist RC Church, 279 Atlantic Street, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.
