Sharon Dimon
February 9, 1947 — April 22, 2015
Sharon DePaulis Dimon, 68, of Seymour, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2015 at her home. She was born in Quantico, VA on February 9, 1947 to Melvin J.and Mary Elizabeth (Betty) McElroy Reilly.
Sherry was raised in Stamford and was employed in the secretarial field, working many years for the Stamford Marriott. She was committed to her religious faith and dedicated much of her life to this passion.
She is survived by her son, Ricky DePaulis and wife, Maureen, of Long Island, NY and her three precious granddaughters, Michelle, Christina and Allison, her six siblings including her twin sister Lindy Reilly, sister Betsy (Tom) Roberts, and brothers Brad (Eileen) Reilly, Tim (Dawn) Reilly, Steve (Meg) Reilly and Bob (Andrea) Reilly. She will also be remembered by her several nieces and nephews, including her very special niece, Dawn Boykin and special cousins Patty Horton and Sue Russo.
Sherry was predeceased by her son Jimmy DePaulis.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 9:00- 10:00 AM with a Memorial Service to be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Darien.
