Sharon Lassaw, 63, of Stamford passed away at the William and Sally Tandet Center on Friday February 24, 2006.
Born January 13, 1943, she was the daughter of Carl DelVecchio and the late Dorothy Hoffman DelVecchio.
She was an Executive Secretary for the Ralph Biernbaum Developers, and presently employed at Lee Hecht Harrison of Stamford, career management services. She was an accomplished poet in the N.Y. Poets Society, having her works published within the society. Sharon was also a past Sunday School Teacher and Organist for the First United Methodist Church in Stamford.
Besides her father she is survived by her husband Allan Lassaw of Stamford; her step-mother Louise DelVecchio of Stamford; a brother Carl �"Tommy DelVecchio Jr. of Stamford; and her beloved pets Coda and Rhiannon.
She was predeceased by her mother Dorothy Hoffman DelVecchio and her sister Donna White.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Sunday February 26, 2006 from 2:00-6:00 PM, with a Prayer Service to be held at 5:30 PM with the Rev. Douglas A. McArthur of the First United Methodist Church officiating. A graveside service will be held on Monday February 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford.
