Shawn Mark Cagle, 20, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday , March 20th , 2013. Born on February 26, 1993 in Stamford to Mr. Mark Douglas and Patrica Ann Gilronan Cagle.
Shawn graduated Stamford High School “Class of 2011”, he attended and played football at Toquam, Rippowam, and Stamford High School. Shawn was a construction worker for various contractors.
Besides his parents he is survived by his siblings; Carley Cagle Smith of Bridgeport, Katie Cagle, Eric Cagle, Austin Cagle and Lauren Cagle, all of Stamford, his grandparents; John and Susan Gilronan of Stamford, two nieces; Ava and Savannah Smith of Bridgeport, three uncles; Scott Cagle of Stamford,Kevin Gilronan and his wife Karen of Darien, and Brian Gilronan and his wife Debby of Trumbull.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Monday March 25, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00PM, with a service to be held at 7:30PM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Shawn’s name to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
