Sheila F. Polotaye, 57, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2017 at Stamford Hospital. She was born in Stamford on February 26, 1959 to William F. Polotaye, Sr. and the late Sheila Cassidy Polotaye.
Sheila was a clerical assistant at H.J. Baker for six years.
She is survived by her loving father William F. Polotaye, Sr. of Stamford, a sister Maureen Mullins and her husband Bryan of Stamford, a brother William F. Polotaye and his wife Frances of Fairfield, as well as three nieces Erin Gelormino, Casey Mullins, Jamie Mullins and three nephews Bryan Mullins, Jr., William F. Polotaye III, and Stephen T. Polotaye. Also surviving is her beloved friend Wayne Hill and her Aunt Bridget Ormond and Uncle Paul Polotaye.
Besides her mother, Sheila Cassidy Polotaye, Sheila was predeceased by several aunts and uncles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 1200 Shippan Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. Calling hours were held privately.
