Sheila M. Vesciglio, 61, of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Smith House Health Care. She was born Greenwich on February 18, 1954 to the late John and Margaret Duggan McGuiness.
Shelia is survived by her devoted husband George R. Vesciglio of Stamford, her loving sons Michael G. and Christopher J. Vesciglio, both of Stamford, two sisters Maureen McGuiness of Hawaii, Patricia Bordeaux of Greenwich, a brother John McGuiness and his wife Tracy of Stamford, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 8:40 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
