Shirley W. Viteretto, 80, of Greenwich, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday April 2, 2016. Shirley was born in Stamford on December 21, 1935 to the late Artemis and Stefanida Kassian Wituck.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Tara Viteretto Burns of Ridgfield, her son Peter F. Viteretto and his wife Leigh M. of Norwalk, her four grandchildren, Caroline and Katherine Viteretto and Haakon and Eleonore Burns, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Shirley is predeceased by her loving husband James F. Viteretto, her sisters, Barbara Dubas, Mary Maciejewski, Helen Kosheluk, Margaret Geriak, Elizabeth Bartholomew, Eudokia “Dolly” Pacini, and Sophie DeCrescenzo, and her brothers, Peter Wituck, Ivan Wituck, Charles Wituck and George Wituck.
Services and interment will be private and there will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Viteretto family with the arrangements.
