Stanley A. Walkuski, Jr., 81, a lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away on November 12, 2025. Born on August 3, 1944, to the late Stanley A. Walkuski, Sr. and Nellie Sawicki Walkuski, Stanley grew up in Stamford and graduated from Stamford High School in 1962. He later proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, completing the MVO course and graduating from Camp LeJeune in 1968. Stanley also volunteered for a few years at the Belltown Fire Department, before going to earn an Associate’s Degree from Norwalk Community College.

Stanley spent many years working as an accountant with Olin Corp. and Towers Perrin before retiring. He was an avid record collector. He liked 50s and 60s music and attended numerous concerts of these performers. He will be warmly remembered for his gentle nature, kind smile, and the care he showed to everyone around him. His spirit lives on in the memories he created with family and friends.

In addition to his brother Chester Walkuski of Naugatuck, Stanley leaves behind nephew Alexander Walkuski and his wife Cindy, and their children Callie and Max of Naugatuck; nephew Thomas Walkuski and his wife Lisa, and their daughter Gabriella of West Hartford; and nephew Steven Walkuski and his wife Alecia of Wolcott. He is predeceased by his sister-in-law, Stella Walkuski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 325 Washington Boulevard, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien.
