Susan Elizabeth Perretta

Susan Elizabeth Perretta, 45, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family, at Stamford Hospital on June 1, 2008. Born October 31, 1962 in Stamford, she is the daughter of Paul and Carol DeSimone Pavia.
Susan was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy High School, Class of 1980. She was a Benefits and Admissions Coordinator for Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center of Southwestern CT in Stamford for fourteen years. She then worked for Sacred Heart Academy High School as an Assistant to the Guidance Department until the schools closing in 2006.
In addition to her parents, Susan is survived by her husband of twenty-four years, Thomas Perretta of Stamford; a son, Thomas John Perretta of Stamford; brothers, Anthony P. Pavia and his wife Wendy of Ridgefield, CT & Simpsonville, SC; and their children, Ashley, Nicole and Sophie; Paul P. Pavia, III and his wife Kelly of Stamford; and their children, Kayla and Jake; a brother-in-law, Robert Schriefer and his daughter Jennifer; a sister-in-law, Nancy Mae Perretta of Wisconsin; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and Godchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister, Roseann Pavia Schriefer; a niece, Stephanie Schriefer; and grandparents, Anthony and Anna DeSimone; and Paul and Rose Pavia, Sr.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, June 4 from 4:00 8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:10 AM on Thursday, June 5 and proceed to Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
