Sue was called home to the Lord on April 1, 2021.
Susan was the youngest of 4 daughters, all of whom predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her husband Michael Anthony Pia.
Sue was full of life right up to the minute of her transition. She was quick witted and always made those around her feel as if they were the only person that mattered. Her interest in you was genuine and sincere. Sue’s humble beginnings, and growing up in foster care, taught her to appreciate even the littlest and simplest things in life which is something she practiced and carried forward through every aspect of her life. She was so very proud of her family and enjoyed spending quality time with them all. Her joy resonated through everything she did and was felt sincerely with those around her. Sue was a member of the Columbiettes, and the Rosary Society.
Sue is survived by her 4 daughters, Rosalie (Nick) Casella, Toni D’Ariano, Michele Thomas, Marianne Pia, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
