Sylvia Costabile Pelillo, 89, passed away on Sunday June 18, 2006 at Stamford Hospital. Born on July 21, 1916 in Mount Vernon, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy Costabile.
She was the executive cashier for Combustion Engineering and a parishioner of Church of St. Cecilia in Stamford.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna M. Pelillo; a Brother; a grandson, Kris A. Pelillo of Brookfield, CT; a Brother-in-law; several sister-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Albert Pelillo; a son, Dennis Anthony Pelillo; and eleven brothers and sisters.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 10:20 AM on Thursday June 22, 2006 and proceed to Church of St. Cecilia, 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM.
