Tasia Patrianakos, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 17, 2017 at Stamford Hospital.
She was born on February 10, 1933 in Pellana, Sparti, Greece. She was the daughter of the late George and Vasiliki Glekas. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Kiriakos Patrianakos and her sister Diamanto Glekas.
Tasia is survived by her loving daughter: Maria Stathopoulos. She leaves behind her three precious grandchildren: Anna, Spiro, and Stacie, who she loved dearly and immeasurably. Tasia also leaves behind a brother Konstantinos Glekas, his wife Ekaterini and her nieces. In addition, Tasia leaves behind many dear close and loving relatives and friends.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave Stamford, CT at 8:30AM, processing to The Greek Orthodox Church of Our Saviour, 2195 Westchester Ave. E. Rye, NY 10580 on Friday July 21, 2017 for a funeral service to be celebrated at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, 124 Rock Rimmon Rd. Stamford, CT. Family and friends may call to the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home Thursday July 20, 2017 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM with a Trisagion service at 7:00PM.
