Theresa Rose Bruno, 85, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family, on December 31, 2018. She was born in Stamford on December 30, 1933 to the late Dominick and Carmela Faugno Uva.
She is survived by her sons Joseph A. Bruno and his wife Denise of Norwalk, Angelo Bruno and his wife Mary Jane of Norwalk. Theresa is also survived by her grandson John Teed of Texas granddaughter Jessica Vetter and her husband Gregory, grandson Angelo Bruno Jr and his wife Molly of Road Island, her sister Gloria Uva of Stamford, brother Dom Uva and wife Rene of Florida, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins
Besides her parents Theresa was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph A. Bruno and their daughter JoAnn Teed, her sisters Mary Uva Pierni and her husband Joseph, and Sylvia Uva Giordano and her husband Frank, brother Victor Uva, her sister-in-law Rose Bruno and brother-in-law John Bruno.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Sacred Heart RC Church, Schuyler Ave., Stamford, on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 9:00AM, a funeral procession will follow for entombment at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Richards Ave., Norwalk, CT.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Theresa’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, St. Jude Place Building, Memphis, TN 38105
