Thomas H. Cole

Thomas H. Cole Sr. 93 of Stamford passed away on Thurs. Feb. 16, 2006.
Born Dec. 17, 1912 in Stamford he was the son of the late Percy and Emma Taylor Cole.
Mr. Cole was a retired telephone repairman for the Southern New England Telephone Co. (SNET). He was a member, Scottish Rite of Masons, 32nd Degree, and a Past Master of Union Lodge #5 of Masons.
He was also Superintendent of Sunday School at the Springdale Methodist Church, a past president of the Springdale School PTA, a Cub Master, Pack 44 Cub Scouts of America and a Fullback for the North End Football Team.
Survivors include a son Thomas H. Cole Jr. and his wife Kathlyn of Guilford, a daughter Susan Cole DeCarlo and her husband James of New Canaan, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Mona Basset Cole, three brothers, James, William and Edwin (Ted) Cole, and five sisters Julia Williamson, Dotty Hannigan, Ethel Leary, Emma OShaughnessy, and Helen OBrien.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sat. Feb. 25, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church 1116 Hope St. in the Springdale Section of Stamford. Interment will be private.
