Thomas Collins

Thomas R. Collins, 84, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Bridgeport. He was born in New Rochelle, NY on December 28, 1929 to the late Thomas J. and Elizabeth Moore Collins.
Thomas was a Salesman at Stamford Installation for ten years before retiring in 1985.
He is survived by three loving sons, Sean M. Collins of Bridgeport, Keith R. Collins and his wife Chrystal of Bristol, CT, Thomas Mark Collins and his wife Kris of Beaverton, Oregon, his former wife Hope Hoyer Collins of Bristol, CT and four grandchildren Jerrica, Kelvin, Rachel and Michael Collins.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister Ann Collins.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Good Shepard, 163 New Canaan Avenue, Norwalk, CT. There will be no calling hours and Interment is private. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Collins family with the arrangements.
