Thomas Masone

Thomas R. Masone, 79 of Stamford, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Greenwich Hospital. Born on February 6, 1931 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Augusta Lazzaro Masone.
Thomas was employed by A.D.P as a consultant for 5 years before retiring in 1997. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Rosemary DiCasoli Masone of Stamford; his son, Michael Masone and his wife Jana of Norwalk; his daughter in law, Laura Masone of Norwalk; his sister, Paula Rabita of Stamford; and four grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Aria and Siena Masone. Also surviving are three aunts and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his son, Robert J. Masone and his sister, Marion Masone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Rd.
Stamford, CT 06903 on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10:30AM with Father Robert Hyl officiating. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Stamford. Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 4:00-8:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Thomas’s name to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897.
