Thomas A. Tomczyk 49, of Stamford passed away suddenly on Tues. July 3, 2007.
Born in Stamford June 10, 1958 he was the son of Anthony and Geraldine Betz Tomczyk.
Tom was a self-employed electrical service contractor in the Stamford area. He was a member of the Elks Club (Stamford Lodge #899), the Glenbrook Athletic Club (GAC), the Eagles Club of Stamford and the Hibernian Lodge of Stamford. He was a graduate of J.M. Wright Technical School in 1976 and was an avid boater and fisherman.
In addition to his parents of Stamford survivors include a sister Gail Meissner and her husband Robert of Fairfield, a brother Robert Tomczyk and his wife Laura of Stamford, a brother Anthony Tomcyzk of Stamford, and his paternal grandmother Stella Usowski Tomcyzk of Stamford. Three nephews and three nieces also survive.
A Funeral Procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory 104 Myrtle Ave. Stamford on Sat. July 7, 2007 at 9:20 AM and proceed to St. Maurice RC Church 358 Glenbrook Rd. Stamford for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Rd. Stamford.
