Velma Clark
December 13, 1954 — April 7, 2020
Velma Y. Clark, 65, a longtime resident of Stamford, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at the Stamford Hospital. Velma was born in Alberta, Alabama on December 31, 1954 daughter of the late Nathaniel Young and Sally Sealey.
Velma was a dedicated team member at the Pacific House as a Property Manager.
Velma is survived by her loving children, her daughter Pamela Young and her son, Brian Young of both of Bridgeport. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Thompson of Bridgeport, and Maggie Young of Stamford, along with her brothers Willie Young and his wife Lisa of Maryland and Reginald and his wife Erica of Stamford. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Myles Evans, Jayda and Brooklyn Young, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother Nate Young.
Due to the current public health situation, a private service will be held.
The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Clark family with the arrangement. There will be no calling hours and the Entombment will be private.
