Victor Ciancio, 61, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Stamford Hospital. He was born on November 12, 1955 in Toronto, Canada to the late Luigi and Maria Giordano Ciancio.
Victor was a former employee in the Grants Department with the City of Stamford for twenty eight years before retiring in 2015. He was a graduate of Stamford High School and a graduate of UCONN, having received his BA degree in Accounting.
He is survived by his loving siblings, Luisa Ciancio Janulet of Hamden, CT, Raphael Ciancio and his wife Janet of Spring Hill, FL, Tarcisio Ciancio of Tarrytown, NY and Anthony Ciancio and his wife Barbara of Shelton, CT, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Interment with a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan.
