Vincenzo Trichilo

Vincenzo Trichilo, 95, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, in Bethel, Connecticut. Born on May 29, 1930, in (Merulli) Reggio Calabria Italy, Vincenzo lived a long and meaningful life surrounded by the love of his family.
He was the beloved husband of Maria Giuditta Trichilo and a devoted father to Mafalda Roma (Armando), Salvatore Trichilo (Brenda), Ada Trichilo (Frank), Albino Trichilo, and Enzo Trichilo (Jessica). His legacy continues through his many grandchildren: Armando Roma Jr., Michael Roma, Rocco Trichilo (Jessica), Salvatore Trichilo, Jr., Christopher Roma (Julianna), Vincenzo Trichilo (Nicole), Vincent Trichilo, Roberto Trichilo, Franco Trichilo Jr., Nicholas Trichilo, Julianna Trichilo, Alex Trichilo, and Hunter Trichilo. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Luca Roma, Enzo Roma, Leo Trichilo, Domenic Trichilo, Giovanni Roma, and Isabella Roma. Vincenzo was the cherished son of the late Rocco Trichilo and Maria Teresa Agostino.
He is also survived by his brother Gino Trichilo (Luisa) and his nieces. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
A Wake will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 15th at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofield Town Road, Stamford, CT. The entombment will follow mass at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich.
