Viola J. Viesto, 82, died on Sunday March 5, 2006 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 28, 1923 in Newport, RI, to the late Alphonso and Josephine Lupo.
She is survived by her two sons Alan W. and his wife Sandra Viesto of Stamford; and Robert B. Sr. and his wife Laurie Zerrenner Viesto, also of Stamford. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
She is predeceased by her husband Angelo P. Viesto, a daughter, Josephine Viesto Kellner; and a grandson, Christopher M. Viesto.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Thursday March 9, 2006, at 8:50 AM and proceed to Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Johns Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday March 8, 2006 from 4:00 8:00 PM. www.cognetta.com
