Violet Concetta DeYulio, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and longtime resident of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully at Stamford Hospital on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Violet was one of four children born to the late Pasquale and Philomena Castaldo on April 1, 1926 in Mt. Vernon, NY. She was 93 years old at the time of her passing.
Violet lived a full and blessed life. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling with friends and family. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.
Violet was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Nicholas DeYulio. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Maria and Dr. Robert Biniakewitz, her son; Andrew P. DeYulio, granddaughters; Alyssa Fisher and husband Robert, Jr. and Ashley Vetsch and husband Joel, and great grandsons; Dylan and Cole Fisher. In addition to her parents and spouse, Violet was predeceased by her siblings Mildred Bianco, Charles Castaldo and Jerry Castaldo.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Church, 39 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. The entombment will be private.
