Virginia Defrancesco
October 5, 1943 — September 13, 2015
Virginia C. deFrancesco, 71, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Regency Heights of Stamford. She was born in Stamford on October 5, 1943 to the late Samuel M. and Catherine Paras Verses.
She was an Insurance Broker at Clifton Brokerage of Greenwich for many years. She was a member of the Springdale PTO and was very involved with her daughters in the GSA. Virginia also loved to travel with her husband Geary and her Uncle Artie & JoJo.
Virginia is survived by her devoted husband Geary V. deFrancesco, her loving daughters Samantha and Alexis deFrancesco, two loving granddaughters Nikki deFrancesco and Hayley Navarrete all of Stamford, as well as her Aunt Sophie Copley of Stamford.
Besides her parents, Virginia was predeceased by many uncles and aunts.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service to be celebrated at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private.
