Vito Canneto

Vito Canneto, 52, entered into Eternal rest on January 12, 2010 at Stamford Hospital after a long illness. Vito was born on September 7, 1957 in Girifalco, Italy and resided in Stamford, CT. He was a resident of The Smith House Health Care Center.
Vito is survived by his beloved son, Antonio Canneto; three loving sisters, Illuminata Ferrajina and her husband Giuseppe, Antonietta Loffredo and her husband Adolfo and Angela Canneto. He is also survived by four nephews, Antonio, Walter, Roberto and Giuseppe; two nieces, Lore and Stefania and their respective families.
He was predeceased by his adoring parents, Angela Rosa and Giuseppe Canneto and a loving brother Salvatore Canneto.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave, Stamford, CT 06902, on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 9:10AM and then proceed to St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM. Entombment in St. John’s RC Cemetery Mausoleum will be private. Friends and family may call at the Funeral Home on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 4:00-8:00PM.
