Walter Robert Gill, 85, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. He was born in Stamford on March 13, 1933 to the late John Edward Gill II and Charlotte Zimmerman Gill.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Ann Mary Lionetti Gill of Stamford, his beloved daughters Catherine Gill Pribanic and her fiancé Steven Gore, Patricia A. Callahan and her husband Kevin, as well as his grandchildren, Cara and Carl Joe Pribanic, Jeffrey, Steven and Brian Callahan and his great granddaughter Shyann Callahan.
Besides his parents, Walter is also predeceased by his brother John Edward Gill, III.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford. There will be no calling hours and Interment will be held privately at a later date at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Walter’s memory to the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516
