Walter D. Scollard, Jr., 65 of Stamford, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010 in Stamford. Born on September 15, 1944 in Stamford, he was the son of Alice Sherman Scollard and the late Walter D. Scollard, Sr. He was the husband of Pietrina Penzavecchia Scollard of Stamford.
Walter was employed by the Parks & Recreation Department for the City of Stamford for 36 years. He was a member of Knights of Colombus for over 30 years and served as an Honor Guard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the Holy Name of Jesus Church, 4 Pulaski Street, Stamford at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
