William Mccoy, Jr.

William J. McCoy, Jr., of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2009, surrounded by his family. Born in Larchmont, NY, he was the son of the late William and Lucy Kennelly McCoy.
William served in the U.S. Army and was an Honored Veteran of the Korean War. He was an entrepreneur and an avid fisherman.
William is survived by Arlene McCoy of East Haven, CT; six daughters, Annemarie McCoy of East Hampton, NY, Arlene B. Greer & her husband Bob of Marstons Mills, MA, Kate McCoy of Swarthmore, PA, Carlin McCoy & her husband Mike Vandellos of Swarthmore, PA, Kelly Swan & her husband Craig of Greenwich, CT, and Christie Anbar & her husband Shereef of Norwalk, CT; and ten grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Pat Egan and Peggy Lustiber; and a brother, Tom McCoy.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Star of the Sea, 1200 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, on Saturday, May 16, 2009 (TODAY) at 12:00 PM.
