William Chambers Miller, Sr.
September 10, 1935 — August 10, 2006
William C. Miller, Sr., 70, died at Stamford Hospital Thursday August 10, 2006. Born September 10, 1935 in Wilmington, Delaware, he was the son of the late Charles Franklin and Marian Chambers Miller.
He was still active as a Stock Broker with UBS of New York, NY for forty years. He served as lieutenant in the US Army, and was very active and well known at the First Presbyterian Church, Stamford.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Rickner Miller of Stamford; a son, William Chambers Miller, Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Hamden, CT; two daughters, S. Dru Pierce and her husband John of Ridgewood, NJ; and Jody Lyn Graff and her husband Benjamin of Philadelphia, PA; a sister, Barbara Vaka and her husband Peter of Sterling, VA; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday August 13, 2006 at First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Bedford Street, Stamford, CT at 2:00 PM. There will be no calling hours.
