William Pechar

William J. Pechar, 97, of Southport passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at CT Health of Southport. Born on June 15, 1913 in New York City, New York, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Pechar. He was a long time resident of Riverside, CT.
William was a Pension Plan Director for Schenley Industries for many years before retiring in 1978. He was also a veteran of WWII in the US Army Air Corps.
William is survived by his daughters, Nancy Toombs of New York, NY and Susan Pechar and her husband D. Hugh Anderson of Fairfield, CT.
In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn Gabris Pechar.
All services are private at the request of the family.
