William Pierce

William K. Pierce, 84, of Darien, CT, passed away peacefully at Stamford Hospital on August 18, 2015. He was born in Stamford on November 7, 1930, proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and with the Stamford Police Department for twenty four years until his retirement.
William is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Helen M. Pierce, his daughters Elizabeth L. Pierce of Darien, and Emily Pierce Casinelli (Jesse) of Wilton, his step-son Joseph M. Pierce (Barbara) of Fairfield, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his parents, Louise and William K. Pierce Sr., and his brother Charles.
There will be no calling hours and services will be held privately. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Pierce family with the arrangements.
