Beatrice Parady

Beatrice Parady, 92 years old, a resident of Milford and former longtime resident of Stamford, CT passed away at the St. Joseph Center in Trumbull, CT on the morning of Saturday, July 29, 2023. Beatrice was born in Stamford on February 2, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Herbert W. and Clara (Shaw) Hamilton.
Mom loved to cook and feed everyone. Our house was known as the “Dew Drop Inn”. If you were there at supper time, you stayed and ate! She worked at Bess Eaton Donuts, Stamford Public Schools (cafeteria lady), and at Pitney Bowes in food service.
She retired and decided to do what she enjoyed best…bingo and shopping! She would travel the state to get the best deals. She went on trips with the Stamford Senior Centers and spent a lot of time at the casinos. Fran Stelmach was her constant sidekick throughout all their adventures. Along the way she made many friends and was quick to help anyone who needed it.
Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Sharon Kelley of Milford, Robin DiErrico of Plymouth, Wendy Hansen of Harriman, TN and daughter-in-law Rachelle Parady of Milford; and her sons, Alan and Janet Parady and Brian Parady of Milford and best friend, Fran Stelmach. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Alton W. Parady Sr., son, Alton W. Parady Jr, granddaughter, Dakota Hansen, and sons-in-law, Neil Kelley and Edward Hansen.
A graveside service will take place at 11:00AM on the morning of Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Fairfield Memorial Park, 230 Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford, CT 06905.
