Frank Inzitari
Frank Inzitari, a longtime resident of Stamford CT, passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital on January 18, 2022. He was born in Arena, in the province of Calabria, Italy on April 10, 1936 and was one of eight children born to the late Giuseppe and Marie Teresa (Gerace) Inzitari. In his younger years Frank loved to spend time outdoors. He especially loved the beach and had a particular passion for fishing and clamming. He was also an avid gardener and grew all types of vegetables in his garden. He loved planting and caring for his fruit trees, especially his fig and peach trees.
Frank is survived by his daughter Theresa Inzitari (Vicki Naftali) of Norwalk, CT; his son Joseph Inzitari (Gloria) of Fairfield, CT; his granddaughter Jenna Principio (John); his sister Concetta Schinella of Australia; his former wife Raffaela Napoli of Stamford; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
In addition to his parents Frank was predeceased by his siblings; Michele, Raffaele and Salvatore Inzitari, Caterina Ranieri, Assunta Siciliano and Nancy Turano.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Frank at 11:30AM on Thursday, January 20th at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. The interment will follow mass at St. Mary Cemetery in Greenwich.
