There are no set costs for funerals. The cost depends on several factors including whether you are buried or cremated, embalming fees,            transportation costs, casket costs, and other prep work. Typically, funerals range between $7,000 and $12,000.

    Pre-planning a funeral helps your family afford the financial costs of a funeral, ensures that your wishes are met, and reduces family conflict. We know it is an uncomfortable conversation to have, but we always recommend pre-planning.

    Public viewing is customary, and it helps loved ones come to terms with the reality that the passed is no longer with us. It also provides them with the opportunity to say their final goodbyes and help with the grieving process.

    A public obituary helps notify friends and family about the death and the type of service to be held. You can place an obituary in a local newspaper or online.
