Carol Ienner

Carol A. Ienner, 77, a lifelong Stamford resident, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Stamford Hospital. She was born on December 2, 1945, to the late Frank and Sylvia (Cerulli) Sileo.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Jimmy Ienner, her devoted children, Jimmy Ienner, Jr., Lisa Ienner, and Tara Ferrajina (Rocco), as well as her grandchildren, Jagger, Cadence, and Ashton and her brother, Vito “Billy” Sileo (Peggy), and sister Sylvia Robertson (Gerry). Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Jeane Sileo. Besides Carol’s parents, she is pre-deceased by her brother Daniel Sileo.

She was a beautician by trade, but her real profession was her family and friends. She was an avid tennis player and a long-time volunteer for many schools and organizations. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church Rosary Altar Society. More important than anything was her love for her children and grandchildren. To know her is to love her and everybody did! She was a beautiful person inside and out.

A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford Ct 06902. There will be no calling hours and Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carol’s memory to the Hospice House of Fairfield County 1 Den Road, Stamford CT 06902 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
