Jordan Ferenc

Jordan Haggerty Ferenc, 42, passed away after a long illness, on May 7, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Freer Dubose Goodbody and his daughter, Miller June Ferenc.
Jordan was born in Greenwich, CT, to Beth Haggerty Ferenc and the late John David Ferenc. He is also survived by his two sisters, Jaculin A F West (J. Matthew) and Jill Irene Ferenc along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and good friends.
Jordan graduated from New Canaan High School in 2000 and Southern Connecticut State University in 2006. Before his illness, he worked as a property insurance adjustor in Chicago and Westchester.
High school sweethearts, Jordan and Freer moved to Chicago shortly before they were married in 2009 and spent five happy years there. After the birth of their daughter in 2012, they moved back to Connecticut, bought a house in Stamford, and happily raised their family including two black labradors, beloved Cashew and Walnut, and cats, Pastachio, Banana Nut Muffin, and Coconut, all rescues.
Jordan loved all things NY Giants and was a fanatic about keeping certain traditions when they won, including what he ate, where he sat, and who had the honor of watching the games with him. Jordan also made a playlist he would blast after each victory. Good times. He loved attending Giants games throughout high school, college and beyond, with several family members and good friends. Go Giants!
Burial will be private and there are no calling hours. A Celebration of Jordan’s Life will be held on a future date.
