Kevin Sala

Kevin Thomas Sala, a loving brother, uncle and loyal friend to many, passed away unexpectedly at Norwalk Hospital on the morning of Saturday, October 23, 2021. Kevin was a lifelong resident of Stamford and was born on August 1, 1962. With his four brothers and sister, Kevin was raised by his late parents, Philip (Bay) and Marie Ann Pagliaro. Kevin was only 59 years old at the time of his passing.

Kevin was a loving son, a great brother and uncle, and a gentle and kind soul. He was constantly going above and beyond for others. Kevin had a true love for rock and roll and a passion for playing the guitar. Kevin was an integral part of the Win Waste Innovations team, where he was a devoted employee for 37 years.

Kevin leaves behind his four brothers; Randy Sala and his fiance Marcela and her son, Scott Londono of Stamford, Wayne Sala and his spouse Chris of Guilford, Philip Pagliaro and his wife Kristen of Trumbull and Dominick Bay Pagliaro and his wife Heather of Norwalk, a sister; Karen Mohammadi and her husband Matthew and his nephews and niece; Bay, Philip, Dominick and Evelyn Marie, and many close friends. Kevin will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM for a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, in Stamford. The interment will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM.
